A nice feel-good song for the almost-post-A levels period...
Lead singer's voice is so charming! [plus the fact that he's hot! heh heh!]
His legs are super skinny man!

Indian Thriller with English Lyrics!
Argh! I just had to post this after seeing it on Cui's blog (and going back many times to laugh over and over again...HAHAHA!!!)
Girly Mannn!

Ever played the game of Twister?
Yes, the one which exercises your flexibility. The ultimate game with the sole purpose of inducing torture through the contorting of hardened joints and heavy bones. Yet, ironically, the game provides comic relief (especially for the onlooker!)due to the fact of taking pleasure, albeit in a rather sadistic manner, in the self-inflicted tortures of the people on the colourful mat.
I have been greatly entertained, especially when the situation involves a motley bunch of big-sized baboons, fresh (or,should I say, stale and smelly)from school.
Imagine four heavy-set boys, clad in the pure white uniforms of their well-respected school, huddled in assorted stances on the Twister mat, shouting out colours and body parts as if their life depended on them. Moments of pain were evident in the trembling hands and prolonged groans that echoed the room.
The occasional guffaws of laughter came about when the suggestion of a hint of "otherwordly aroma" evoked by one of the Yoga masters were made known to the rest. (I leave it to you to imagine what wonderful scents and fragrances could have been emanating from the butts that were thrusted high into the heavens and with bodies that have not endured the suffering so commonly experienced on the running track.)
Tempted to see their sadistic play, I escaped from my studies and made my way downstairs to witness what the boys were up to. As described, they were creating their own imaginary world, bodies flayed across each other, forming arches with their thick torsos and establishing pillars with their clumsy feet.
The one that seemed to be relishing the moment would be The Dictator. He was The One who decides their destiny: whether to do a "Cirque du Soleil" or to be spared from such agonies (being in a relaxed position).
With his thrusty sidekick a.k.a. The Spinning Board, he issues a decree of which his subjects have to comply to (amidst disapproving grunts).
On my "coincidental" occasion of passing them, on the pretext of what seemed to be me refilling my water bottle, I happened to glance upon his countenance and was surprised that he acknowledged my presence (the others were too busy figuring out their next move).
The impression which I have been trying to create- that of the stern and aloof older sister of my brother- seemed to have gone down in shambles after trying in vain to control my laughter upon catching them red-handed in their childish play. (My brother smiled coyly back upon realising that I there).
Retreating back to my safe haven upstairs, I couldn't help but ponder over the nature of Man: how we have to face the inexorable task of creating different facades when placed in different circumstances.
When in the company of friends, my brother's cold and hard persona took on a lighter side, even to the extent in which he actually became amiable and approachable. In the presence of his friends, I took over my brother's position and became the "withdrawn, unfriendly sister."
What are we trying to prove by being so caught up in playing Twister to different people's feelings?
Night approaches. The incessant chattering and laughing died down as, one by one, the boys retired from their play and made their way home.
The brother that I knew has returned again.

Time for a quick update!
Prelims ended last week. These few weeks are the crucial do-or-die weeks and I really hope I make full use of whatever time I have left. Other than that, I really don't feel like talking much about exams and studies and academically-related stuff.
Moving on...I was exploring my brother's handphone the other day and I found "hidden treasures!" Just take a look at these:

My brother's just so adorable at times right? Haiya...if only he could be like that all the time...anyway, The Blob brought home triple the B.O. when he brought his sweaty friends over to our place yesterday. However, what they did yesterday was quite interesting. [Sorry for repeating this again, for those who know about this..I can't help it..haha!]

Remember the mocca ad? Where the bodybuilder guy tries to "advertise" his house, flexing his muscles in the process? My brother and his friend did a remake of the ad:
I could hear my brother, the director, giving his friend (the one in the video) some advice on how he could better express his love for his humble abode. (HEH HEH HEH!)
'Could tell that at the bathroom scene, he was already trying very hard to suppress his laughter..hiak hiak hiak!

Josh Groban's "So She Dances" and POTO
So she dances,
In and out of the crowd like a glance.
This romance is from afar
calling me silently...

Ok...I don't know what to make of this but I know that I was in the wrong and that there was really a miscommunication problem of sorts...what I don't get is why the sudden paranoia about my social life. I really don't get it. I mean, yes, I have to admit that I was in the wrong to even do something without first seeking your permission, that I had taken it for granted and felt that this would mean nothing anyway but you, on your part, should not have exaggerated things and come to a conclusion that "something's wrong with my attitude these days." It's only one incident, for goodness' sake!
Plus I didn't like the fact that you kept inquiring about things and getting all paranoid and decided, based on this one and only incident, that your eldest daughter (who is usually well-behaved and mature-well, at least that's what I think you think of me) could even think of doing such things, even after I compromised a great deal while struggling to maintain my composure.
I really wanna make things clear to you, and to all those out there who judge me based on what they see and hear: everyone makes mistakes. And that doesn't mean that people who are nice and mature are excluded from this category. Don't be surprised if I say or do something that you wouldn't expect me to do. How well do you know me anyway?
Even after 18 years, sad to say, do you even care about me anyway? You're so busy doing your own thing, seeming to care more about the rest than me 'cos you were confident that I was "mature enough" to settle my own stuff and all but you failed to realise that I'm a human with emotional needs too. Call that selfish but I thought that's what a relationship should constitute-sharing and carrying each other's burdens and building each other up through encouragement and all....I only need your understanding,is that really too much to ask for?
Dear God, I really want things to be better. I acknowledge my mistakes and understand that all these happened as she was woried and all but she was in the wrong too and it hurts to hear her say things which are not true to how I really feel. I really need your divine intervention now...
Anyway, thanks Samantha, for comforting me and all and even making a radio dedication...if only she was that understanding...
