Pictures!

My Grandpa the star. He was invited to give a talk for secondary schools as part of their learning journey to Chinatown and he was quite happy cos the students treated him like....erm...a star! hahaha! They even asked him for autographs and had a phototaking session. Upon seeing the photos, my brother and I came up with captions to fit the mood...muahahaha!

"the star in action"

"even the wife is given VIP treatment!"

" I can't believe it! Up close and personal with my idol!"

"busy amidst the sea of autograph books"

"fans from all walks of life"

You gotta hear this caption by the Blob: "The life of a star" (notice the girl's face!)

Actually this photo was chosen due to the powerpoint slide at the background which says:"Let's Welcome Uncle Mun (my grandpa)"

OK,now for Chinese New Year celebrations in school:

Rachel!

:D

Chinese New Year 2007 was not that fantastic:the usual routine of visiting family and the occasional friend's house. Seems like everyone can't be bothered with visiting anymore. Nevertheless,I'm not complaining for the extra timeout from school even though it's too short a break.

Out with Fan Cuiwen today was good. It gave me another lease of life besides the one that I'm living in now:our familiar, mundane life that revolves around school. Treated her at Pastamania as her birthday's next week.

Well, we had a nice talk and of course, any conversation with Fan Cuiwen will not be normal if there weren't any long periods of uncontrollable laughter! This time was no exception. Reminds me of the KL Netball trip in Malaysia in which she sang to some song by the boyband "Blue" without knowing that Ai Ping and I were recording her at the back! HAHAHA!!! She decided to make a comeback today...hahaha...

Next stop: Swensen's. Sticky Chewy Chocolate still rules the roost!

Picture says it all...

Revenge of the outrageous Ong Lai

Talked and talked from 1 plus to 5! But it was entirely worth it...realised that St.Hilda's has undergone many changes with regards to people and many others...

Did many stupid things along the way (as usual!).We (actually it's mostly Cuiwen!) embarrassed ourselves when we wanted to descend from the 3rd level to the 2nd of Century Square and taking the escalator in the wrong direction! (we were THAT close!) hmm, doesn't seem funny now but it was,at that moment. "Context,is all"

she tried to perform an eye-check (...)

Anyway, it was good to catch up with her man! Thanks Cuiwen for your bookmark and HAPPY BIRTHDAY! =)
