We're going to the zoo! zoo! zoo!

Almost fell asleep at work today. Kept looking at the time so that I can be the first one to rush out of the door to freedom.

It's seriously time to put on those running shoes man. One trip to the zoo without any strenuous activity was enough to tire a 19-year-old granny like me. Under normal circumstances, I don't think I would travel so far [and brave the rain, heat and humidity] to watch animals watching us but since I have not met the girls for quite some time and since Rachel and Charlene had FREE passes [yeah, THAT magic word], it was worth it!
I felt that we were camwhoring without the animals half the time! Heh heh!

Pictures courtesy of Rachel,Sam,Charlene as well as Geraldine's Polaroid :)

Ps: Rhyss! I'm waiting for yours! heh heh!

Our first stop: The Bengal Tiger.

Sometimes it's rather depressing to see the animals looking back with their forlorn eyes at you as if they were telling you that they don't belong there.Imagine spending a whole lifetime being subjected to the entertainment of us humans...sighh...

Even hippos have their mushy moments...
The highlight of the trip-This Seal was really very intelligent, very responsive and very friendly. He would win my vote to succeed Ah Meng as Singapore's icon.
Pumba the WarthogAnd Now! For the finale....

I.R.Baboons!!!! We survived the zoo! :)
